Not to mention, it’s overwhelmingly beautiful (even on rainy days). Think you're hardcore? Prove it at Smith Rock State Park where you can rock climb until your arms fall off or just watch your buddies dangle helplessly, while you sip on a Central Oregon brew. Rock climbing too passé for you? Then travel to Stevenson, Washington for the Bridge of the Gods Kiteboarding Festival, conveniently located near some of the Gorge's best beer. Snuggle up with friends and a local brew under the stars at Redhook's Moonlight Cinema or carouse with orcas and local craft beer in the San Juan Islands. Otherwise, do the typical beer lover's thing and head to the Oregon Brewers Festival, the Northwest's largest beer festival. Just go early and lay-off the 12 percent beers, ok?
